How quickly can I expect the results I want?
On the whole coaching achieves rapid results.
To some extent however, this depends on how ready you are for the changes you want to make. Coaching works at your pace with your agenda at all times. The coach does not offer opinions or give advice unless specifically asked to, but instead works with who and how you are to enable you to feel supported and make progress.
Do I have to agree to a set number of coaching sessions in advance?
Not at all. I have the view that although coaching works best of all when it is regular and a rhythm is allowed to build that allows the process to happen easily, the frequency is up to the client.
There are no set rules and everyone is different and has different requirements: some people think in advance they will need a lot of coaching and are getting results immediately and others think they will only want one or two sessions and come for many more. It depends also on what the process brings up for a person and how quickly they want to deal with the issues involved.
In addition and as a matter of course, Vicky gives between-session support by text, email or both, and stays in contact with clients after coaching has finished. Many clients return after a period of time, having achieved their original objectives but wanting to move to another new level.
